How to get to Alicante

By Air
 

Alicante Airport is located just 10 km (6.2 miles) southwest of Alicante and the Hotel Melia.

A taxi takes about 20 minutes to get to the Hotel Melia. Fare: ~25 € (Note: Not all taxis accept credit cards).

The C6 bus service runs between the airport and the Hotel Melia every 20 minutes and takes about 30 minutes. Fare: 3,85 €

By Train
 

The Alicante Train Station is just 1.8 km (1.1 miles) from the Hotel Melia. There are high-speed trains available from Madrid to Alicante that take about 2.5 hours (see Renfe).

A taxi takes less than 10 minutes to get to the Hotel Melia. Fare: ~10 € (Note: Not all taxis accept credit cards).

Bus lines 12 and 16 run between the train station and the Hotel Melia every 20 to 30 minutes and take about 15 minutes.
